Top-Seeded Eagles Win 'B' Volleyball Championship

In the middle school volleyball tournament, top-seeded Jessie Clark defeated No. 2 Edythe J. Hayes 2-1 for the "B" league championship to cap their 13-0 season.

“This is the second year in a row that this group has won the city championship and been regular-season champions,” said coach Ashlee Rose. “I could not ask for a better group of girls to coach. They come every day ready to practice or play in a game. They have been a pleasure to work with, and I cannot wait for next year!”

Their seventh-grade roster included Nelayah Akins, Olivia Belcher, Adelia Brown, Caroline Duane, Emily Grospitch, Ava Hundley, Decker Kok, Xiomara Ramos, Lily Riggs, Addie Rister, and Ruby Strutz.
